I know right off this may sound like a scam. I can assure you that it isn't , I promise!
My name is Joshua Passon. I am a type 1 diabetic. My Father is unable to work because he is disabled. My Mother is unable
to work because of an illness as well. The only money we get is a small retirement check, for my Dad, from his former employer.
This check barely covers the housing payment. Once you add all the utility bills and the phone and with gas the way it is;
we have to do odd jobs just to try to come up with enough to have money for food. I have a part time job at a local radio
station to help pay some of those bills.
I am involved in many extra-curricular activites such as: robotics, marching band, latin club,and thespian society.
Robotics takes most of my time in the spring semester and marching band takes all of my time in the fall semester. On top
of all this, I take honors classes and have a 3.3 GPA. I plan to go to college, but with my finacial situation, I don't think
it will be possible for me to go to college. Also, with robotics and marching band lasting so long after school is over for
the day, i need a mode of transportation for myself. I cannot rely on my parents because a trip into town on our budget in
the family car, is not budgetable at all!
Heres where you come in, I need help to able to get all of these things! I need help for collge and a vehicle!
